In many applications, programmable power users continue to increase their demand for power sources that offer CC power and CV power operation along with programmability, flexibility, and user configurability. In response to market demand, Cotek successively developed our new 1.5 KW switching mode programmable power supply: AD-1500 series to minimize the Engineer’s design-in efforts while fulfilling the complex requirements stated above.

 

To make sure the global users can enjoy the new features of AD-1500, we have designed the power supply to support a Universal AC input range from 90-264Vac. Nominal single output volt[1]age available from 12VDC up to 57VDC as standard and both output voltage and current are possible to be programmed up to 105% of its nominal.

 

In terms of communication, AD-1500 supports different interface options (RS-485, I2C, Ethernet – coming soon, and many more to come) to allow users to configure the settings flexibly and efficiently via GUI. The communication installation and environment could interfere with the noise surrounding the power supply, AD has a built-in isolation circuit & ORing to protect the power supply while minimizing the noise during communication.

  • Easier Parallel setup and operation via CANBUS

  • Communication Interface: Single / Standard / Ethernet (coming soon)

  • Communication protocol: PMBUS / MODBUS / RS-485 (UART)

  • Built-in EEPRom to memorize the setting after the power supply shuts down

  • Intelligent GUI to set, monitor, and query power supply status

  • Built-in ORing-FET and communication isolation circuit
