How do I build an UPS system for my facility ?

Power shortages are becoming more common these days due to energy instability and environmental factors. Blackouts occur more often causing your computer and other electronic equipment to shutdown with unsaved documents and potential damage. Equipment uptime can be crucial in medical environments.

Cotek SD – Series inverter

Parallelable pure sine wave inverters with AC bypass function

1. Smart AC bypass design, your UPS system’s first choice

With our AC bypass function, both your utility power (AC) and battery power can be connected to the Cotek SD-series inverter. The inverter will use your utility power while saving your batteries for emergency use. Once power is lost from the utility, the inverter will switch to batteries in 0.016~0.05 seconds to provide the power you need to finish the job.

2. What if I need to power heavy duty equipment, can Cotek inverters provide over 5,000 watts?

This is when our parallel function kicks in. Although our SD-Series largest output is 3,500W, you can connect two 2,500W inverters for 5,000W applications or you can connect two 3,500W for even more power. The SD-Series can connect up to 5 units. If you have the equipment, you can set up a UPS system with 17,500W!!!

Is that all? Of cause not, our parallel redundancy design can keep your equipment working if one of the paralleled inverter fails.

3. Static Transfer Switches (STS) Provide uninterrupted power to your load

If you need a faster uninterrupted power for your more power sensitive equipment, we also have a Static transfer switch (STS) option available. With STS, you will have a transfer time of .004 seconds.

4. 1Ф / 3Ф for multiple commercial & industrial applications

The SD-Series is compatible with 3 phase 4 wires application for your heavy load requirements. By connecting 3 x SD- series you can achieve 3 phase 4 wire output. Below is a diagram showing you how:
